A Clinical Stud for Reconstructive Surgery of Hepatic Ducts


Abstract
The materials in this report are based on 7 biliary structures which were resulted by surgical injury on the biliary tract and needed subsequent reconstructive operations and 7 cases of primary carcinoma of the hepatic ducts which were operated in the Dept. of Surgery of Busan National University Hospital during last 5 years from January, 1970 to December, 1974.
The results were obtained as followings.
1. Reconstructive operations of hepatic ducts were performed in 7 strictures resulted by surgical injury on the biliary tract and its age distribution was.3 cases between 30 years old and 39 Years old, one case, between 20 years old and ¢¥29 years old, one case between 40 years old and 49 years old, one case between 50 years old and 59 years old, and one case between 60 years old and 69, years old.:
2.The overall sex ratio of male and female in surgical group is 1:1.3.-
3. The initial surgical procedure responsible for biliary stricture was cholecystectomy in 3 cases and cholecystectomy with choledocholithotomy in 4 cases.
4. Hepaticojejunostomy were most commonly performed and available for biliary tract reconstruction in surgical group. Its results were excellent.
5. Primary carcinoma in the hepatic duct was 7cases. Age distribution was one case between 30 years old and 39 years old, one case between 40 years old and 49 years old, 3cases between 50 Years old, and 59 years old and one; case between 60 years old and 69 years old. 6. The overall sex- ratio of male and female in primary carcinoma is 10.8.-
7. Primary carcinoma in the hepatic, ducts involved `the common hepatic ducts in 2 cases, common hepatic ducts and common bile ducts in 3 cases, common bile duct, common hepatic duct common hepatic duct and cystic duct in one case, and the common hepatic duct and cystic duct in one case.
8. Except one case, who see general condition was extremely poor extended radical operation of, primray carcinoma in the hepatic ducts brought relatively excellent results.
